I'm so glad to be here learning how to use this wonderful tool! (virtualbox).
I'm trying to import the OVA file:
Kali Linux 32-bit (pae) Virtualbox
Kali Linux VirtualBox 64-Bit - Downloaded directly from Offensive Security - twice. But after starting to import, it suddenly stops at 27%, and gives me the following message:Kali Linux Virtualbox 32 Bit
- Code: Select allExpand viewCollapse view
Failed to import appliance C:Program FilesOraclekali-linux-2019.3-vbox-amd64.ova.
Result Code: E_INVALIDARG (0x80070057)
After checking my BIOS (virtualization was enlabled all the time), I downloaded the OVA file Kali Linux VirtualBox 32-Bit also from the same webpage, and my VirtualBox imported it whithout any problem.
I'm running a brand new Lenovo ThinkPad E580 with an 8th gen i7, 8ghz RAM, 1 terabyte HDD (upgrading to an SSD and 20 gb RAM soon). Windows 10 PRO 64 bits.
I wanted to attach two URLs with the screenshots but the forum didn't let me to since I'm new here.
I was also searching for the VBox.log file but I couldn't find it.
Any clues? I will give all the information you ask me to, I'm very stoked to have this VM running since I took an online course recently about this subject.
Thanks in advance!
